The Swedish-Norweigian baritone Kristian Anderssen has now returned to Stockholm after 25 years in Oslo, Norway.
Kristian Anderssen started his career in the opera choir at the Stockholm Opera. Later he moved to Norway to attend the Opera College in Oslo. After that, he has, among other things, performed at Den Norske Opera in roles as Count Almavina, Papageno and Morales in Carmen.
Kristian Anderssen is also composer and singing teacher with good results both in classical singing and with focus on musicals.
Kristian Anderssen has also studied "Complete vocal technique for advanced singers" at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen.
In the early 90s Kristian Anderssen was employed in the Opera Choir at the Stockholm Opera. After finished his education at the Oslo Academy of Opera, he has had several roles as a soloist, both at the Norweigian Opera in Oslo, other opera houses in Norway and in musicals at the Norwegian Theatre. He has also given concerts in Sweden, Denmark and Iceland.
Kristian Anderssen has also written a musical about Edvard Munch. Munch in pictures and Music premiered at the old Munch museum in Oslo, where 3 of Kristian's self-composed songs were included.
