This course is designed for those who want to develop their voice together with others. Everyone can sing, but singing from sheet music, with good technique, in unison and in harmony is a greater challenge. The goal is to develop your voice, your ear, and your music reading skills to boost your self-confidence and make singing more enjoyable.

Course Leader: Ragna Fagelund, choir and orchestra conductor, mezzo-soprano and vocal coach.

Participants: No previous singing or music reading experience is required – except the ability to sing in tune. If you have difficulty hitting the notes, please choose the course for the "tone-deaf".

Course Content:

  • Basic voice and singing technique, intonation exercises
  • Basic music and rhythm reading, interval training, sight-singing
  • Practical training with a sing-along repertoire
