Lourdina Ghattas - violinist
Lourdina Ghattas recently graduated from Kungliga Musikhögskolan, Stockholm with a master's degree in violin performance, a graduate of The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a bachelor’s degree (UK), and a graduate from Conservatoire A Rayonnement Régional D'Aubervilliers with a Diploma (FR).
Lourdina Ghattas has participated in numerous orchestras and ensembles e.g. The Palestine National Orchestra, the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, Valdres Sommersymfoni, and more. Lourdina Ghattas has also experiences as a soloist and from chamber-music.
Lourdina Ghattas has previously taught in Birmingham, Bethlehem and Ramallah and is a very appreciated teacher. She always take the time to get to know each of her students to find the best way to help the students to learn and grow. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help the students succeed.
As a kid Lourdina Ghattas studied by the Suzuki-method and she knows the method well. From her time in Birmingham she also knows the ABRSM-exams well.
Lourdina Ghattas moved to Sweden a few years ago and is currently studying Swedish. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.
Since autumn 2022 Lourdina Ghattas is employed by Opus Norden to teach the violin.
